“We were very moved when we learned Paige, a 9-year old girl from Topanga, dedicates a substantial part of her free time to create candles she sells to raise funds for the Santa Monica Mountains cougars. Let’s take a page from Paige and show the younger generation that we grown-ups care about the wildlife in the parks that surround us. More than 50% of the mountain lions’ habitat was destroyed in the Woolsey fire. Plus, their home is torn apart by highways. Let’s prove our community stands together – not only with our fellow humans, but also with the wildlife we share this place with.
